Amy Normand
Beginnings
Amy has a love for all things home-related, and she comes by this love naturally. Her father was a land developer. He was passionate about working the land and never grew tired of the labor and love that goes into developing and selling land. Amy’s mom was a homemaker and hostess who took great care and effort to make their home a place of peace and beauty. They passed on their love for beauty and architecture to Amy, regularly driving her and her siblings by historic homes around Fort Worth.
Work & Skills
Something that sets Amy apart is her background in construction and intimate knowledge of houses. She has done just about everything you can do to a house, much to her husband’s dismay (wink, wink)! Her expertise and experience build trust with her clients; she knows which “project” homes are worth pursuing, and which ones to walk away from. Amy’s work has been featured on HGTV and in Cottage Style Magazine. She won Best Historical Renovation from the Preservation Society in Waco and Best Fixer Upper from Modern Farmhouse Magazine.
Priorities
Amy and her husband, Joey, have been married for over 28 years and have 5 children. Like her mother, Amy loves to host all the things…Life Groups, dinners, game night, and late night Karaoke with the kids! She delights in conversations with her three grown daughters and cheering on her boys from the stands on game nights. Other loves include dates with her husband, a trip to Simple Things Furniture (oh la la), McDonalds DP with extra ice, and dropping off thoughtful notes or gifts for friends. One of Amy’s greatest values is her faith, so she devotes much of her time to prayer and bible study.
Why LEAGUE?
As someone who cares deeply about doing things well, it was important to Amy to be part of a team who showed the same level of care. “I wanted a locally owned, home grown, God-dreamed vibrant work space, where people are passionate about getting things done with excellence and honor!”
