November 2024 Housing Report
It’s no surprise we love calling Fort Worth home—our city is booming! According to the Fall 2024 Texas Relocation Report and local market data, over 11% of Texans moved within the state last year, and Tarrant County saw an 11.5% jump in sales this November compared to last year.
Fort Worth led the way with a 22.7% increase in home sales and a 29.8% boost in active listings. The median home price climbed to $343,000—up 8.2%—while inventory stayed tight at 3.5 months.
The growth isn’t just in Fort Worth. Surrounding cities like Aledo, Burleson, and Weatherford are thriving too. Aledo saw a 48% jump in active listings, Burleson rose 48.5%, and Weatherford gained 29%.
“Fort Worth is thriving, offering great job opportunities, economic growth, and an amazing quality of life,” said Blake Barry, 2024 President of the Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS®.
With homes spending an average of 55 days on the market and closing in about 31 days, Fort Worth and its neighboring cities are more popular than ever!
