Born and raised in Fort Worth, Ashley’s family moved to the historic southside when she was young. Ashley grew up in charming Berkeley and attended Paschal High School. Ashley met her husband of 20 years at Texas A&M University and they tied the knot shortly after graduation. After marrying, Rob and Ashley resided in Georgia and New Mexico while Rob served in the USAF. Eventually, they came home to Fort Worth to raise their two boys. Ashley joined her mom’s design company, Steffler Design, and the mother/daughter design duo have been tackling residential and commercial interior design projects of varying scales all over the state for the past 14 years.
Work and Skills
Interested in architecture and design from her early years, Ashley pursued a degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M with the intent of practicing architecture. As she started working, Ashley realized that interiors were more of her love, so creating spaces that make people feel comfortable and meet their needs has been her goal for the past 20 years.
Ashley stays true to the four main “F’s”: Faith, family, friends…Fort Worth!
There are so many things she loves about this city. Ashley used to say it is a small town with everything that a big city has to offer but…as a true local, she knows that though Fort Worth is no longer small, it still takes pride in its small feel!! She maintains her love for all that Fort Worth has to offer from the small town vibe to the big city amenities; culture, restaurants, events, and most importantly: the substance of the people… “I love this community and its diversity. I love the many different neighborhoods that all bring something unique. And I love Mexican Food, which Fort Worth has in abundance!”
Lastly, Ashley loves to cook, watch movies, attend her boy’s events and games…travel, teach Bible Studies and spend time with friends.
“LEAGUE is a place that is made up of people who live and do business according to the values that I hold dear. I am excited to be a part of their team!”
Well, first off, thanks for those words, Ashley! Sooo….why, Ashley? Ashley brings experience in serving clients in a closely related field. Ashley conceptualizes her design business the same way we do real estate. It’s about the people. It’s about meaningful service and creative initiatives. Ashley said, “I love meeting new people and getting to know them. As an interior designer, one of the steps in our process is to interview new clients and find out how they live, what their goals are, and what needs and desires they envision for their home or office. This aspect of the designer-client relationship also exists in real estate.” You’ll find that Ashley cares about her client and about successfully achieving their goals.
