Austin Tullos
Beginnings
Austin is a Fort Worth native! He graduated from Brewer High School and went on to receive his undergraduate degree from DBU. After getting married and returning to Fort Worth, Austin served for over 10 years as a worship leader at a local church before stepping out of full time ministry to pursue real estate. For the past 5 years, Austin has been involved in real estate investing, including house flipping, new builds and short term rentals. A natural entrepreneur, Austin has dabbled in several other ventures as well. He owns two local self-serve car washes, branded “Funkytown,” and along with his wife, Katy, helped to launch (and run) The Vintage Rail event venue in 2018.
Work & Skills
Austin’s experience in renovation and home building has given him a unique understanding of how to spot a quality house. Whether as a sellers or buyers agent, he can help clients make educated decisions when it comes to the homes they are interested in selling or purchasing. Austin is extremely relational, making easy conversation with anyone he meets. “It is so important to understand each client’s specific needs and hopes for their home. My goal is to help them find the one that is a perfect fit for their unique personality and situation.”
Priorities
Austin and Katy love adventuring with their 3 kids! Whether it’s traveling or exploring local venues, they’re always seeking out great food, new experiences, and different cultures. Staying active is also a priority. “When the Texas weather is somewhere between frozen tundra and scorching heat, I love to spend extra time outside either relaxing on a patio for date night or riding bikes on the Trinity Trail with my family.” Spring mornings are usually spent at their kids’ various sporting events, followed by evening hangs with family and friends. Music and Mexican food are must-haves. Austin loves a good country music song, and still enjoys writing and performing his own music.
