Bobby is a true Southside boy born at Harris in the hospital district. Growing up in the heart of the now hip Magnolia area, Bobby watched his neighborhood and hometown revitalize and grow. Bobby grew up playing lots of baseball and to this day remains a committed fan of the sport. Bobby did not wander far from his roots!
Bobby is a dynamic guy. Not shy in front of a crowd, Bobby is a former professional stand-up comedian as well as a repeat speaking guest for Zig Ziglar. Also notable, he’s appeared in Fox’s TV drama, “Prison Break” as well as “Wishbone”, a PBS kid’s show. Bobby authored the book, “Dream Big, Win Big” and lives with a passion for influencing others. Professional experiences include 25+ years of work in corporate sales, marketing and consulting. Bobby also serves as pastor of a local church, “Waves of Faith” where he has been the Lead Pastor for the past 2 years. Combining entrepreneurial initiative, his background in sales and marketing with his pastoral heart provides Bobby a great skill set for serving clients in real estate.
When asked what’s one thing he couldn’t live without, Bobby replied, “My faith in the One who created us all.” A close second for Bobby is his wife (and buyer’s agent) Cary Minor (you can also read her bio). Bobby is crazy about his 3 kids… Bobby values his family and friends deeply. Bobby serves at the Samaritan House monthly and is frequently involved with mission work in India.
“There are lots of great brokerages out there but there are none like LEAGUE that have such a tremendous heart to serve others and leverage creative media and technology in the way that LEAGUE does. To me, this is what sets LEAGUE apart.”
Bobby and Cary are great additions to the LEAGUE family. Bobby’s background in marketing, consulting, pastoring and service provide a backdrop of competency that accelerated his momentum into the real estate industry. Bobby approaches his work directly, casually and with initiative and you can count on Bobby’s team to advocate for you and your needs! We’re honored to have Bobby and Cary at LEAGUE and are grateful for their desire to serve clients well thru creative media.
