Doug Hampton

Doug is a life-long Johnson County resident of the city of Joshua. While attending Joshua Independent School District, he developed ideals and friendships that have carried him into adulthood. His father, a retired Johnson County Precinct Supervisor, and his mother, a retired JISD teacher, coach, and counselor, provided him with love and life experiences that enabled him to envision a professional career with a continued dedication to helping others. His public school teaching, coaching, and counseling, including eight years in the JISD school system, have given him the opportunity to promote learning and guide middle school students as they transition to further education or work. It is this same dedication that drew him to pursue a career in real estate.

Work & Skills
Doug’s long-time experience as a school counselor has made him an excellent listener and communicator. These skills allow Doug to listen well and understand his clients’ unique needs. “I am always striving to learn and grow and to become better at everything I do.” He is committed to helping his clients in any way possible, going above and beyond to meet their needs.

Doug enjoys living with his wife, Julie, and their two boys, Weston and Harrison, in the tight-knit community of Johnson County. Julie is employed with JISD which allows them both to interact with the community through the education system and Doug through the real estate market. Though work keeps him busy, Doug loves to spend time with his family whether traveling, being in the great outdoors, or just going out to do something fun. “We are a family that is always on the go. We do not do well with idle time”. Doug also enjoys writing and recording music. “Music has always been something I am extremely passionate about. Music and playing guitar will always be a part of my life in some form or fashion.”

Seeking new professional avenues and encouraged by personal friends, Doug decided to obtain his real estate license. Doug sought out an innovative agency with an outstanding reputation where he could enhance his skills and collaborate with other agents and clients. .
