Kalyn McKittrick

Beginnings
Although she wasn’t born in Texas, Kalyn jokes that she got here as fast as she could. A Horned Frog through and through, Kalyn earned her degree in Advertising/Public Relations from TCU as well as an MBA from the Neeley School of Business and went on to have a successful career in marketing. But when she and her husband, Taylor, purchased their home with the help of a real estate agent, her mind latched onto the thought of becoming an agent. Not only was it exciting to think about hunting for and finding the perfect property for someone, but the idea of studying and mastering a new industry also intrigued her. So, with a little encouragement from her husband, Kalyn set out on the path to earn her real estate license.

Work & Skills
Kalyn laughingly admits that she’s a “talker.” But, the truth is, she has a natural gift for communicating effectively. This natural ability combined with her training and experience in marketing and communications make her an excellent spokesperson, advocate, and ally in the fast-paced and sometimes stressful real estate industry. Her clients would describe her as enthusiastic, energetic, patient and knowledgeable, and she makes it her goal to be “the ultimate resource for my clients as well as a comforting point of contact when stressful situations happen.”

Priorities
At the top of Kalyn’s list of priorities are her husband, great friends, and good wine. Whether exploring Napa Valley, relaxing on a sunny patio in Fort Worth or hosting a dinner party in her home, what she loves most about wine is the way it brings people together for excellent conversation and fun. Also on her list of priorities is exercise, and she enjoys spending time outdoors, running or golfing with her husband. The other loves of Kalyn’s life are her mom, her sisters, and her “fur-baby” rescue cat, Blue.
