Beginnings
Mayra’s interest in real estate was sparked when she was still a child. Her father, who had always owned investment properties, encouraged her to consider a career in real estate. But it was only after a successful career in human resources and the birth of her first son that she recalled her dad’s words and stepped into the career that would quickly become her passion.

Work & Skills
As with human resources, real estate allowed Mayra to work closely with people to meet their needs, something that has always given her joy. “Buying a home can be a very scary process, especially for first time home buyers,” she says. “I like to be there to answer all their questions and help them through every step.” This dedication shines through in Mayra’s work ethic and professionalism. She is always willing to go the extra mile, and nothing gives her greater satisfaction than successfully closing a deal for her clients.

Priorities
Mayra loves capturing life in photos. “There is a Spanish saying, ‘recordar es volver a vivir,’ which means, ‘remembering is to relive,’ and flipping through old photos definitely helps me do that.” If you were to flip through Mayra’s photos you would see pictures of her husband, Daniel, and their two kids, Cruz and Santino, exploring the parks and walking paths around Fort Worth. You would also see pictures of delicious food from the wonderful new restaurants she and her husband enjoy on their date nights. And you would certainly see pictures from the many gatherings they love to host in their home. Whether it’s a big party, a casual wine and cheese hangout, or a dance party (Mayra loves to dance), hospitality is a family affair.
