Tarrant County Heart Walk
Walk and fundraise as an individual, or consider starting a team and asking friends, family and coworkers to join you in becoming Heart Walk heroes. The money you raise will help fund lifesaving science that can create an artificial heart valve, or prevent a stroke. Put scientific advances into doctors’ hands. Correct heart defects in newborn babies. And someday, find a cure for high blood pressure.

Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest, in Trinity Park, is a 3-day celebration of German culture with the best in Bavarian bier, food and entertainment. Whether you want to stay cool in the air-conditioned Spaten Halle, kick back in the Karbach Biergarten, shop in the expanded artisan market or test your skills at stein hoisting and bier barrel rolling, there is fun for everyone. Families with children who enjoy polka music and bratwursts will have a blast. Plus, they can enjoy carnival rides and games! Admission for children 12 and under is FREE with a paying adult. Fort Worth Oktoberfest also hosts a midway with carnival rides and games.
