Melinda Akowski
Beginnings
Melinda was raised in a small town in Southern Illinois before moving to Tucson in her teen years, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Adam. They raised three amazing children and started a small business together in 2001. Melinda and Adam also share a love for real estate and investing, so in 2008 Melinda decided to get her real estate license.

A real estate professional since 2008, Melinda is known for her integrity, diplomacy and sincerity in all her dealings. She truly has the heart of a teacher and loves to learn. “My goal is to learn 3 new things every day! Real Estate fulfills that natural desire in me to learn as it is always evolving with new innovations, market shifts, and ever-adapting technology.” In her tenure in the business, Melinda has first and foremost strived to be someone in whom her clients and colleagues can put their trust and faith. One key to her success has also been the result of her knowledge of the local real estate market and dedicated work ethic. Though she specializes in residential real estate, she also works with investors in the foreclosure/rehab market. Melinda aims to ensure her clients are given the knowledge and support they need to make an informed decision when buying or selling.
Priorities
Melinda is most passionate about her faith and family. Married over 30 years with 3 children and their first grandson on the way, she is over the moon about the next phase in life. Melinda also loves spending her time serving with The Justice Reform which is a local anti human trafficking organization.

Why Melinda?
Melinda believes every real estate transaction is about her client(s). She knows how to listen, is generous in offering information, and most importantly will always advocate for her client’s best interest. Her main intention is to understand her client’s needs and build a relationship that will last over the course of time. When orchestrating deals for her buyers and sellers, Melinda is assertive and effective without being too aggressive. While she is a strong negotiator and advocate for her clients, she is just as much a compassionate, friendly, and humorous partner who eases a process that can often be quite stressful.
