Beginnings
Originally from Round Rock, TX, Jen Dons planted her roots in Fort Worth in 2001 with her husband Nick, following their college internships in the city they both fell in love with. Armed with a degree in Marketing from Texas A&M and with a background in retail management, purchasing, and sales, Jen’s passion for people and problem-solving led her to pursue a career in real estate in 2014. Since then, Jen has become a trusted advisor, guiding families through the intricacies of buying and selling homes with empathy, expertise, and a deep commitment to service, all while actively contributing to her beloved Benbrook community. At home, she shares her life with her husband, two children – Vivian and Isaac, and their two beloved fur babies, Brixie the boxer, and Bronx the Frenchie.
Work and Skills
Before entering real estate, Jen managed teams in retail and briefly worked in human resources. Her background equipped her with the ability to manage multiple projects and budgets, motivate teams, and develop innovative solutions. As an agent, Jen’s detail-oriented approach and adept multitasking skills ensure smooth transactions, while her compassionate demeanor eases the stress for her clients. They describe her as detailed, caring, and communicative, appreciating her commitment to preparedness and client education throughout the process.
Priorities
At the heart of Jen Dons’ life are her unwavering faith in Jesus and her deep devotion to family. With her husband Nick and their two children, each with their own distinctive personalities, Jen finds constant inspiration and immeasurable joy. She loves socializing with friends, whether it’s sharing chips and salsa on any Fort Worth patio, enjoying movie nights, or playing pickleball. Dancing with Nick, the very activity that brought them together, remains a cherished pastime. She is actively involved in her children’s school, supporting everything from sports to fine arts to the PTA. And when she’s not immersed in community activities, she loves to travel with a list of dream destinations waiting to be explored.
