Todd Allen
Beginnings
Todd grew up in Christoval, a small Texas town south of San Angelo. In his youth, Todd would visit extended family in DFW. That feeling of “big city meets small town” is what eventually drew him to Fort Worth. Todd’s parents both worked in civil service: his dad was a firefighter and his mother was a nurse. Their example instilled a sense of service in Todd early on; from risking lives to save others, to working a holiday shift so others could spend time with their families. He has carried these examples of dedication to serving others in every aspect of his life, including his career.
Work & Skills
Todd served in the Fort Worth Police Department for 13 years, including 7 years as a member of the SWAT team. He grew to know the city and surrounding areas like the back of his hand, becoming familiar with the character and culture of each unique neighborhood. His time on the SWAT team developed in him an attention to detail and a sense of urgency that has carried into real estate. Todd has a great understanding of the “legalese” of real estate contracts and can effectively negotiate on behalf of his clients.
Priorities
As a father of three girls, Todd and his wife, Jessica, stay busy with their daughter’s activities. Todd is recharged by being outdoors, especially near water or in the mountains. Every year the family looks forward to vacations in both Florida and Colorado. The Allen’s recently moved to Godley where Todd spends time tending to his chickens and a small peach tree orchard!
